What Is VSI?

Feeding methods of VSI (Vertical Shaft Impactor)

Center feed

It is fed into the middle of the rotor. The fabric is then sent from an open space to the crushing chamber. It then affects the outer anvil ring.

This crushing action provides a lot of energy to the fabric and is extremely effective on most types of materials. It gives a really uniform and consistent grade of the product.

Rotor and anvil configuration

The VSI has several rotor/anvil configurations for different applications. From open or enclosed rotors to tubular rotors, each machine is configured for its unique application.

In many cases the rotor table, rotor assembly, anvil ring or rock shelf are interchangeable, allowing maximum application flexibility.
